Dead Fans !!! ... Whoa !!  As I most-certainly hope that this G.D. Rock & Roll Beauty ! of a Backstage Pass ... featuring Bertha herself ! - on Pink Backstage Satin ! rightfully catches your Eye !!  What a Stellar ! Psychedelically ... Pink !! G.D. Pass - for the Late-'80's !  Dang ... I mean I just saw a Photo of myself the other day - right around Spring Tour '90 - fairly-shortly after this here Show.  And I thought ... Whoa ?!?  Now why was I wearing those shorts ? - and even in-public !?!  Some kind of ' Fancy ' Late-'80's / Early-'90s J. Crew ! shorts - as I do even recall ... and I even had the guts to Rock them out on Dead Tour !!  Hey Now !!!  As after-all ... it was indeed the tail-end of the Glorious ! '80's Era ! and in those ' Fashionable ' days ... you could sure stretch'em - and, I suppose I did !  Yes !!  Ahhh ... but just Look ! How-Awesome !!! Bertha Looks ! in sort of a Yellow ! color ( of the day ! ) - with ... a Killer ! Pretty in Pink !! shiny satin background.  Perfecto ! for Tinseltown ... G.D. ! L.A. !! at The Forum !!!  Even smack dab during the Magic-Era of the Hometown L.A. Lakers ! too.  Classic ...  Today, this cool Pass design even reminds me a little bit of the most-excellent Breast Cancer awareness campaign ... one that we all should indeed tip our cap to.  I'm Psyched ! to say that I ran just the other day ... and Rocked my Pink Ribbon Tee !  Awesome ...  I don't even know if the ' Pink ' thing was in-effect in the Late-'80's ? ... but, nonetheless - all the Cooler ! now.  Bertha Do !! Come-Around here when you're lookin' this Fancy !  Ha !!  So-cool ...  Well, and so-was this 3-Show run at The L.A. Forum ! ... as this was the ' Middle ' Night of a 3-Show L.A. stand for the Band.  And, at this Show ... Airto Moreira - Flora Purim & Diana Moreira joined B.K. & Mickey during Drums !  And, that even happened inside a 2nd Set that opened with a Smokin'-Hot ! China > Rider !!! ... as, the Lovelight was no-slouch either !  Yeah Bobby ! ... get-em !!  And, I remember very-well that this was one of the ( later on. many ... ) ' I Will Take You Home ' deliveries by Brent ! - that made me a real-fan of that fine lullaby tune ... just Stellar !!  Wow ...  And, on the next night after this one - on 2/12/89 ... both ! Spencer Davis & Bobby Dylan joined the Band for some tunes - all throughout the Show !!!  And, also on that 2/12 Show ... the Boys even played ' Monkey & The Engineer ' !!?! - to the Grate ! Surprise of All !!!  Now, and let me tell you ... those tapes spread like Wildfire ! - as they well should - Whoa !!  '89 Winter Tour at The Form ... in L.A. !!!  So-awesome for certain, and - if you were lucky enough to catch this night ... I can't even imagine just How-Happy You ! are right-now to see Bertha ! here on Pink ! - close to 30-Years later ?!?  My goodness time flies ... as this was G.D. Live-Action with Tons ! of welcome surprises for the Dead Fans - and it still just seems like yesterday !!  A Way-Cool ! Dead Pass indeed ... Enjoy !!!!!

Dead Fans !!!  Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the Giants Stadium Show ! in East Rutherford, New Jersey ( NJ ) on June 6, 1993 ( 6/6/93 ) !!  Wow ... a Very-Special Dead Pass ! here indeed - as this was one of the Rare ' Throwback-Logo ! ' Passes used by Grateful Dead Productions, Inc. in 1993 !  Simply one of the all-time plainest - simplest & Grate-est !! Grateful Dead Art Design Images of All-Time ! - " Good Ol' Grateful Dead " - in Red, White & Blue with the Stars ! in tow !!  Awesome ...  Originally designed in the Early 1970's - this Truly ! became one of the " Quintessential ! " straight-to-the-point Logos used by the Band - all the way through the end !  In fact, if my memory serves me correctly ? ( 50/50 ... Right ? - Ha ! ) - well ... I'm pretty certain Jerry Garcia even had one of these ' Circular ' Good Ol' Grateful Dead Vintage " Stickers " right on the side of his Good Ol' Hard Truckers ! equipment rack cabinet ... right On-Stage !!?  Applied by a Road Crew Member - quite-possibly ?  Quite likely ... & pretty-awesome too - indeed.  So ... this Logo was actually used just about precisely 10-Years before this 6/6/93 Giants Show - on the 1983 Summer Tour !  And, these were the earlier days - where Backstage Passes weren't ' quite ' as creative & different each & every Show as they eventually became ... at least in the Good Ol' World of the Grateful Dead !!!  This Pass was used - in a ' Horizontal ' format for like every Show on that '83 Summer East Coast / Midwest Tour !  Right ! off the top of my Dead-Head ... 6/20/83 & 6/21/83 Merriweather Post Pavilion comes quickly ! to mind !!  So - Way-Cool ! that this was used here in '93 at Giants Stadium on the 1993 Summer Tour !!  I believe this ' exact ' design was only used one other time - for Chicago - on 6/25/92 ! ... a Red-Hot ! G.D. night in Soldier Field ! with James Cotton !!  I'll never-ever forget that day ... Wow !!?!!  And ... there was also another ' Throwback ' Pass used - in addition to this one ... the " Early '83 " Cartoon-style logo Pass - which was indeed " Thrown-back " & used by GDP for both the U.N.C. Dean Dome in '93 ! Show - and also for Albany at the Knick ! on Spring Tour '93 !!  I don't know about you - but, I suppose that I would have to consider myself kind of a Throwback-Guy ?!!  Well, look at it like this ... I still ! drive an '83 Classic Car ! - and, I still-buy brand new '83 & '84 Naks !!  Ha !!!  I thought the reader of this listing, might just - appreciate that.  Classic ... for sure.  Well, yep - you bet ... this Pass is Super-Hot ! in that it is for the Giant ' Giants ' !!  And, anyone who has even seen the Dead there - will more ! than well know what I am saying ... just a Huge ! Stadium - and ... on 6/6/93 ? - ' Huge ' in many-more ways than one ... H.C. Sunshine ! - Bertha > Good Lovin' ! - Uncle John's > Playin' ! - Attics ! ... Wow !!!!!! -- Enjoy !!!!!
