Grateful Dead Fans !!! ... Garris & Allah Fans !! ... and quite very-possibly too - Iowa Hawkeyes Fans !!!!!  Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the August 10th, 1982 ( 8/10/82 ) Show at the University of Iowa - inside the Fieldhouse ... the Home of the Iowa Hawkeyes !  And ... this Grateful Dead Show was actually the Last & Final G.D. Concert ever at the U of I Fieldhouse !  This Show has always been a fan-favorite - when it comes to this High-Energy ! '82 Summer Tour !!  One of the Finest ! Shows on this whole West Coast / Midwest August-stretch which included Ventura, CA - Tempe, AZ - Red Rocks in Colorado - Austin, TX - Oklahoma City, OK - Kansas City, MO - St. Louis, MO - St. Paul, MN - East Troy, WI ... with the Tour Closer ! being right-here - at the University of Iowa !  Incredible Soundboard Tapes circulated from this Fine-Show in the Mid/Late '80's - which is a main reason why many Dead Fans know their 8/10/82 Iowa !  A set list to die for - '82 Style ! ... and one of those Magical ! night's where just about everything seems to gel !  Check the set list below - as this one indeed lives up to the tale of the tape - and the hype !  Yes, you can tell that I love my '82 Iowa Show ... and my '82 in general !  One of the many ' underrated ' years in Grateful Dead Live Folklore ... indeed.  And as for this Pass design itself ?  Wow !!!  Pretty strong indeed - as you are looking at the Philip Garris ! '74 designed ' The Fiddler ' from 1975 " Blues For Allah " Fame !  One of the most Quintessential ! Grateful Dead Art Designs in G.D. History !  And ... this particular design here - for 8/10/82 ?  Amazing ' dark ' colored image - with a stark white background !  A high-quality ( thick & durable ! ) made " Otto " brand pass from the Early-'80's !  One of my Favorite ! '82 Shows of All-Time - was the Show following this one - 8/28/82 Veneta, Oregon ! ... over 2-weeks later ... so indeed - the Band did more than continue their Live-delivery " Magic ! " ways after this Tour.  Garcia's Distortion-tones - and especially the treble-highs ... are a little gritterier & nastier during this period.  Which for my ears ?  Oh my does it work ...  When he flies - he Flies !!!  And let's not forget - this period is also the coming-out party for those emphatic Bobby Weir Attacks ! that we all Love !!  Bring it Ace !!! because after all - it's the '80's !!!  I say ... '80's Dead Forever !!  The Allah Pass ! design - for the Home of the Iowa Hawkeyes !!! ... Enjoy !!!!!
