    Description

    Grateful Dead Backstage Pass : 1993 : " Jerry Garcia 1973 Doug Irwin ' Wolf ! ' Guitar Logo !!! " : June 5, 1993 ( 6/5/93 : 6/5/1993 ) - Giants Stadium - East Rutherford, New Jersey ( NJ ) : 1993 Grateful Dead Productions, Inc. ( GDP ) - Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) : Very-Rare !!!
Grateful Dead Fans ! ... Garcia Fans !! ... & Fans of " Wolf " !!!  Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the June 5th, 1993 ( 6/5/93 ) Show at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey ( NJ ) !!!  Grateful Dead & Jerry Garcia Fans !!!  Wow is right ...  As here offered is one of - if not " The ! " Coolest Grateful Dead Backstage Pass of All-Time !  At least for those out there, who always liked to choose the " Jerry Side !!! ".  Pretty amazing indeed - as this is a " Baby Blue ! "  Vintage-Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Starliner Pass, with ' Grateful Dead ' written in cursive - and in Gold !  As it should be, on a Pass of This-Importance !  ' Backstage ' is also written in Gold too, and " Wolf "... featured Boldly ! in all of his rightful colors - Red / Pink, Yellow, Black & White.  I've always thought that my overall favorite G.D. Pass of the modern ' More-Colorful ' G.D. Era ( basically '81 to '95 ) was probably the 8/31/1985 Manor Downs Pass, as Rick Griffin is just All-Over ! that one, in Quintessential ! " Aoxomoxoa-esque " style - however, this one here ??  Wow ... it's a very-very tough call, for all reasons quite-obvious.  To the Dead Fan masses ?  I might just say this-one wins.  However, to those who love G.D. Posters, Handbills, and Griff ! ... well, you can see where I'm going with this one.  Total toss-up, or so I suppose.  Let's just say that the Beauty ! is in the Eye of the ( Deadhead ! ) Beholder.  Let's just also say that this is the " Wolf " !!! that we are talking about here.  and we all well-know what both him & Garcia collectively have done to our minds ! & lives !!  I thought it might be a nice idea to offer this Incredibly-Rare one - not to say in this type of condition ! - over 25-years young !! ... in honor of Wolf just somewhat recently rearing it's Beautiful ! head for the Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration !  One of my childhood-best ' Touring-Buddies ' called me not too long ago, and said that this Symphonic Celebration of Garcia ! ( at Wolf Trap !! ) might have been one of the ' Best Shows ' he's ever seen.  And I must admit, I was pretty surprised to hear him say that - however, with him ... I'll always take his word.  It's just good to know that Wolf is plugged-in, and electrifying die-hard fans once again.  This fellow-fans, is definitely music to my ears.  I myself only saw Garcia play Wolf a couple of times, with a night in Oakland '93 probably being the most memorable.  What a tone ! ... heck, even in the digital-era.  Well, you wanted the best - and you got the best ... arguably the Hottest ! Grateful Dead Pass in the World ! >>> Giants Stadium ! - New Jersey !! - 1993 !!! ... Jerry Garcia's !!!! Doug Irwin " Wolf " !!!!!  Enjoy !!!!!!!

    Grateful Dead Backstage Pass : 1994 : " Jerry Garcia Art !!! " : Fall Tour '94 ! : September 28, 1994 ( 9/28/1994 ) - Boston Garden - Boston, Massachusetts ( MA ) : 1994 Grateful Dead Productions, Inc. ( GDP ) - Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) : Home of the Bruins ! & Celtics ! - The ' Last & Final ' run of Boston Garden & Boston ! G.D. Shows !! : Rare !!!
Grateful Dead Fans !!! - Boston ! Fans ... & Fans of Jerry Garcia Art !!!  Offered here is the 9/28/94 Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( 2nd Show ) from the ' Last & Final ' Stand of the Grateful Dead ! at the Historic Sports & Rock Venue ... The Boston Garden !! - and by the Dead in Boston, MA ... Ever !!! Grateful Dead Fans ! - and Fans of all-things Boston !! ... & especially the Good Ol' Boston Garden ! ... offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the Band's Last & Final ! stand at the Boston Garden ! ... on September 28, 1994 ( 9/28/1994 ).   And ... in fact - this run of Shows was actually the Last / Final time that the Grateful Dead ever did play Boston, MA !!! The Grateful Dead were indeed scheduled to return to the Garden on the planned 1995 Fall Tour - and Tickets were sold & issued accordingly ... but, due to the untimely passing of Jerry Garcia - this '95 Fall Tour run at the Garden never became a reality.  In fact, the Dead were booked to be one of the Final Music Acts at this Historic & Rustic Northeast U.S. Sports & Music Venue - if maybe not even the last ?  Point being ... it was widely known that the Old Boston Garden was going to be demolished - for the ' New ' Boston Garden.   And, knowing this well in advance - the Grateful Dead even added a little History & Fun to the mix by printing " We're Going To Tear This Old Building Down ! " - right-on the GDTS Mail Order Tickets !   Pretty cool ! - as I'm sure you are very-familiar with the Dead Fan favorite Song " Samson & Delilah " ... which, the Dead indeed played on this run - in it's usual rightful place on Sunday ( 10/2/94 ) ! - a little " Sunday Sermon ! " from the Band to the Northeastern Deadhead Fans, just like they like it ... and would almost expect !  Wow ... and as for these actual Grateful Dead Backstage Pass design for this 9/28/94 Pass ( the 2nd Show of the 6 Shows ) ... it features an Original Jerry Garcia Art Design !!!  Or, a clever & cool " Jerry Doodle " if I may.   So-cool ... and one of his many Amazing ! " Sketches " - and a very-cool one at that - but, I'm still ! not sure " Who ? " this Character is that is doing the Posing !?!  Alfred Hitchcock ? ... Maybe ??  Not sure myself.  Or, then again ... maybe this one was just inside the Grate ! Mind of Garcia !?!   But, Jerry did do some various ' Sketches ' like this one for G.D. Backstage Passes in the 1990's - and usually, they were of an actual somebody.   As for instance ... for a few Shows in the '90's - he actually did drawings of both !! Billy Kreutzmann ! & Mickey Hart !  And even one of Bobby Weir ! too.  Hey, you know ... after all - it's Rock & Roll ! - and you Always ! have to show your Drummers ! & Guitarists ! some Love !!  Classic indeed ...   But, as for this design - I'm still trying to figure it out ... for like 25-Years strong now !?!  What do You ! say ... are you with-me on - " Hitchcock ??? ".  As I guess we might just have to chalk this one up as a lifelong ' Mystery ! '.  Ha !!  Unless, of course ... You ! have the Keys to this Mystery Castle ?  Ha ! Well, regardless ... I hope you were in there on 9/28/94 because the " Let The Good Times Roll !!! " kicked off this Beantown Show ! - and it continued ! to be a Hot-Night ! of G.D. - as was most of this Last & Final Boston run of Shows for the Band.  The Grateful Dead at the Ol' Boston Garden ... The Proud Home of both !! the Boston Bruins ! and the Boston Celtics !  And of course, one of the many 'preferred' Proud ' Venue ' Homes of the Good 'Ol Grateful Dead !!!  The Dead played the Boston Garden Twenty-Four ( 24 ! ) Times - dating back to their " 1st Show " at the Garden on April 2nd, 1973 ( 4/2/1973 ) ... with October 3rd, 1994 ( 10/3/1994 ) - indeed being the Very Last !   A Quintessential ! Piece of Rock 'n Roll History here my fellow Fans ! - so -- from Me to You !! ... Enjoy !!!!!
