".  Ha !  As offered here are the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic) Grateful Dead Backstage Passes ( sticker-patches / satins ) for the July 31, 1994 ( 7/31/94 ) & August 1, 1994 ( 8/1/94 ) Summer Tour Shows ! at ' The Palace Of Auburn Hills ' - in Auburn Hills, Michigan ( MI ) !! ---
And, as for the 7/31/94 Pass ... just " Cruisin' in The Mit ! - with The Good Ol' Grateful Dead !! ... on a Harley Davidson Motorcycle !!! ".  Well, and for a certain-type of Grateful Dead Fan - there really can't be any Cooler ! of a Grateful Dead Pass ! .. and that's a Dead Fan that likes to Ride !!  Or, at least someone who can appreciate a Beauty ! of a Harley !! when they see one.  Just like Bobby Weir once said - as his character was " Chargin' His Chopper ... I may be Goin' to Hell in a Bucket ! - but at Least I'm Enjoyin' the Ride !!  Ride, Ride ! - Ride !!! ".  Hah !! - as I most-definitely agree there.  The photos of this Pass pretty much speak for themselves -  as this one is indeed a G.D.-meets-Motorcycle Fan Classic !!  A very-cool " City " design image faintly-shadowed in the background - with ' Grateful Dead ' printed on top - in a way-cool Font !!  And of course below, a photo-image of a Harley Davidson Motorcycle !!! ... and this here Chopper ! looks to be a Minty-Beauty !!  One that someone has Loved ! & very-well cared for.  So, if you love your Bikes ! - and your Grateful Dead ! too !!?  Well then ... " Hey-Now ! " - as this one is indeed For-You !!  This design was used for this '94 Michigan Show - and I don't think ever-again ? - or, if perhaps so ... I personally have never-seen-it.  I'm also thinking that maybe ( & quite-possibly ! ) one of the guys in the Road Crew wanted to get his New Chopper ! featured on a G.D. Pass ! - and the Band said " Sure, sounds-cool to Us ! ".  Gotta love the Grateful Dead - and their ways ... always a Democratic Band ! - when it came to decisions like this.  An Awesome !!! G.D. Backstage Pass - and, if you loves your Harley's !?!  Well, then this is indeed your Lucky-Day ! ... Excellent !!  Oh, and by the way too - this Show was Pretty-Hot !!! ...  Touch Of Grey - Spoonful ! - Samson - New Speedway Boogie ( the Altamont tune ! ) - Truckin' - He's Gone - Good Lovin' ... and the Super-Duper " kick-down " from the Band on this Fine ! Michigan-Dead Night >>> The Midnight Hour !!!!  And yeah ... Always-Remember to " Enjoy the Ride !!! ". ---

A Very-Rare ! G.D. " Jerry Garcia Birthday " Show !! on the '94 Summer Tour !!!  Wow~Oh~Wow !!! - as this Amazing ! G.D. Pass has so-much going on with it - that's it's almost insane ?!?  First-off ... the sound of Jerry Garcia enjoying his ' 52nd Birthday ' in the Motor-City ?!! - I Love-it !!!  Sure hope he went to the Ol' Joe ! to catch a Wings Game !!  Hey, who knows ... maybe he did !  Ha !!  So, just when was the last time the Grateful Dead played on Jerry's Birthday ... way back in 1982 ! in Oklahoma City !! ... at " The Zoo !!! ".  That's my best stab ' In The Dark ' - right off the top of my Dead Head ! - Ha !  I also know Jerry played a J.G.B. Show down in Irvine, CA in 1992 on his B-Day - and even " Jerry Masks ! " were being handed-out to the Fans !!  So, it's definitely pretty cool also to spend a B-Day ! at The Palace !!  And second-off ... this here Reonegro-designed " Postage Stamp " style G.D. Crest ! logo is quite the rare design - in that it was also used for the 1990 Europe Tour ! - for Germany !!  And, I'm also quite certain that was the ' only ' other-time that it was used ... right here ! in Michigan ! - for Garcia's 52nd B-Day !!  Which is pretty-darn funny ... as 25 is indeed " 52 " spelled Backwards !!! -- Hah-hah-HaH !!!!!  As I'm thinking there might have been a little GDP " Prankster-Action ! " going on here - but, who's really to say.  But, as for this Beauty ! of a " Crowned-Eagle G.D. Crest " Art Design ( Reonegro ! ) - it was originally designed for the " 25th Year " Anniversary of the Grateful Dead !!!  Which, of course for all obvious reasons - is Way-Cool !  Debuted in '90 - and used again here for the '94 Summer Tour !! - for a G.D. Pit-Stop ! - right in " The~Mit !! ".  Because it-does look like a ' Glove ' you know ?!  I'm a Mit-Fan ! and always have been.  A Beautiful-Pair ! of G.D. Passes for the Collector ! - or for any G.D. & Jerry ! Fan !!  Where You there ?? ... Singin' a little " Happy Birthday Jerry !!! ".  Awesome ! ...  Real-Awesome !! -- Enjoy !!!!

Dead Fans !!!  Wow ... 6/27/84 ! - Summer Tour '84 !! at the M.P.P. !!! - in ' The MD ' !!!!!  I mean what good Mid-'80's Lovin' Deadhead ! out there hasn't completely Smoked !!! the Tapes from This-Show ! to nothing but pure cinder & ashes over the last 30-Years ?!?  Thank goodness for digital though, right ?  Nahhhh ... Ha !  This here is the Garcia Muscle ! period - with Hot & Heavy ! Boss distortion rallies almost every night ... ready to steamroll anyone who tries to get in the way.  Wow !!! ... Jerry G. !!  And ... this-here is indeed " The " Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) G.D.T.S. ' Mail Order ' Ticket for the June 27, 1984 ( 6/27/84 ) Show at the ' One & Only ! ' Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland ( MD ).  A Killer ! and very nice-sized Rock & Roll shed ... one which you could easily argue that Hendrix & Garcia hammered the hardest in it's 50 year-ish History !  This is a still Brand-New unused, untorn, etc. Tix for the 2nd night, of this 2-Show M.P.P. '84 Summer Tour stand.  Maybe you were fortunate enough to catch this Classic red-hot G.D. run !?  Maybe you've heard the tapes ( very-likely ! ) ?  And if so ... then you already well-know what the Good Ol' '80's !!! Grateful Dead did to M.P.P. on this '84 Summer Tour run ... just Absolutely-Crushed !! it.  To just be blunt about it & why not ? ... Holy Garcia !?!?!!  He flat-out Burns ! both of these 6/26 & 6/27 MPP Shows - and obviously doing it to Merriweather in this fashion just wasn't enough, because the Band returned once again ( for the last-time ever ) and Smoked ! The-Post !! yet once again for 2-nights on the '85 Summer Tour !!!  All of these Sets are must-hear / must-have caliber G.D., for any Dead Fan who loves their Mid-'80's " Brent-Era ! Glorious ! Help > Slip > Franklin's from This ! 6/27/84 Show.  I mean ... Thank-Goodness ! that a couple of fellow Deadheads took the rick & the chance to get a little ' Betamax ' video footage of the ' Real ' King Of Rock & Roll ! ... just calling All ! the Celestial-shots ! on the Slipknot ! ascension.  I mean ... Wow !!?!!!  Right over on Stage-Left ! - the place that I personally prefer to call the " Rock & Roll Lion's Den !!! ".  Over where Big-League ! Rock & Roll !! gets played ... & where Jerry & Brent like to ' Cat & Mouse ' it in gamey fashion & style.  Whoa !!! ... Just-Huge !!!!!  And, you know ... I'm not talking about " Glorious " in a Late '70's silky-smooth G.D. fashion ... not at all.  I'm talkin' about a Mid-'80's style Boss HM-2 infused ... Fiery-Attack !!!  One with Heavy-Duty ! ' Black & Orange Colored ' Distortion Pedal Muscle !!!  This is the Grateful Dead ( Garcia ! ) Brent-Era unit right here that could maybe even make players the likes of Iommi or Page even raise an eyebrow.  It is a crying shame that " Dave's Picks " will likely never-ever touch this '84 Summer Tour run ( or ... maybe even " 1984 " all together ) with a 10-foot pole, and sure I get it - but I definitely don't like it.  This is Powerhouse ! Grateful Dead played with Passion ! & Attack !! - where chances are taken freely ... and when the Stars do indeed align   Shinin' right-down on Garcia !! " G.D. Magic ! " is achieved, that can really never be matched by any other band - due to the technical nature of sheer fretboard delivery, and naturally the ( to quote Bill Walton ... ) - " The Flesh-Eating Low-End of the John L. Meyer Sound !!! "... Holy Mac ! - and Holy Twin-Reverb !! ... and of course - Holy-Boss!!!  And I'm not just takin' about Garcia - well, then again ... Ha !!!  The real truth & fact of the matter is that the Merriweather Post Pavilion never saw anything quite-like-these G.D. runs ( '83 - '84 ' '85 Summer Tours !!! ) ever again ... and though that's only just my personal-opinion ?  It's really hard to really argue that it's not 100% valid.  1983, 1984 & 1985 Summer Grateful Dead at M.P.P. some of the Best ! ' Live ' Rock 'n Roll !! that has ever happened there ... probably ' since ' Hendrix in 1968 ?!!  Completely-Legendary-G.D. !!! - Enjoy the " Jester ! " Tix !!!!!
