    Description

    Grateful Dead Backstage Pass Puzzle : 1992 : " Complete ! " ( 2-Pieces / Passes ) " Skeletons ! ... Confederate Civil War Cannon !! " Puzzle !!! : March 5 & 6, 1992 ( 3/5/1992 & 3/6/1992 ) - Hampton Coliseum - Hampton, Virginia ( VA ) : Very-Rare !!!!!!
The Incredible ! Reonegro-designed ' Skeleton ! ' Confederate C.S.A. Civil War Cannon ! Puzzle ... for the Last & Final Grateful Dead Shows Ever ! at the Hampton Coliseum - Two ( 2 ) Stealth Shows !! ... on the Grateful Dead '92 Spring Tour !!!
Dead Fans !!!  Offered here is the ' Complete ! ' Grateful Dead Backstage Pass " Skeleton War Cannon !!! " Puzzle for the Last & Final ! Grateful Dead Shows ! at the Hampton Coliseum !! - on the 1992 Spring Tour !!!  This Reonegro-designed 2-piece only " Puzzle Pass " is one of the Coolest & Most-Hilarious ! G.D. Puzzle Passes ever made - at least in my opinion.  What do you say ?!  These three Civil War Confederate CSA Grey Coat dressed Skeletons ! look to be handling this War Cannon pretty darn well ... as one Skeleton is plugging his ears ! - another Skeleton is not ?! ... as it appears he wants to hear the Bang !!? -- and the third Skeleton of these 3-Zaney Wartime Musketeers ... well, he looks like the Commander ?, or maybe the General ! of the bunch -- and he's lighting the Fuse !!  Better duck for cover - and there's really no better a place to duck for cover than inside the Spaceship ! ... also known as the " Spaceship Hampton ! " Hampton Coliseum !! -- as this is the '92 Spring Tour we are talking about here !  How Awesome ?!?!?  Seriously ...  Well, in truth & fact - this G.D. Puzzle Pass here is actually pretty on the mark & accurate ! in it's History !!  And why - you may ask ?  Well ..... on this Tour - these two Hampton Shows were pretty much " Shot out of a Cannon " !!!  Literally !  Basically ... both of these Hampton Shows were ' sandwiched ' right between the Omni Shows in Atlanta ( 3/1,2,3/92 ) & the Cap Centre Shows in Maryland ( 3/8,9/92 ) - but, they were never announced by promoters in advance !  Due to large crowds, the ticketless, the growing & out of hand ' scene ' etc. the only way the Band could book dates at Hampton was to be sneaky & stealthy about it ... keeping it on the way down-low.  So, Me & My Crew were mail ordering tickets back in the day - Hampton wasn't on the schedule, and I don't think we even found out about its existence & reality until the Atlanta Shows ?!?  So, in other word s... the G.D. Management did a pretty nice job with this one - effectively keeping away the riff-raft, but ... in the end - it was Still ! not enough.  After this 2-night stand, the Grateful Dead were banned from playing Hampton - and with the greatest regrets for all of the ' True Fans ' - and for the Band too ... it never happened again.  So, in essence - this Skeleton Cannon Blast ! here on this Pass represents not only the Last / Final Grateful Dead Shows at the Hampton Coliseum ... but these were also the Two ( 2 ) Very-Last Grateful Dead Shows in Virginia !  And for me, I actually used to live in VA - exactly during this time ... so in my mind, and really the minds of many G.D. Fans -- this very-special Puzzle-Pass means Tons !!!  Some of it is unfortunately sad, with the ban & all ... and the Band never being able to come back and play.  But, when I look at this Hilarious ! G.D. Puzzle-Pass - it just makes me Smile !!! and think of all of those Grate ! times ... well over 25-Years ago now ?!?  Oh man, how time flies.  Well, take a nice look at the photos provided - and hopefully we are in agreement ?  That this G.D. Rock 'n Roll Beauty ! needs to be Framed !!!  Perfect to display in your Man or Woman Cave - or, as maybe I should more appropriately say ... your ' General's-Quarters ' - as you had better take cover because Commander & General ' Skeleton ' here are watchin' - and they've got a Cannon ! ... propelled by " The Wheel " !!!  A Total ! Reonegro ! & Grateful Dead !! Classic !!! - and one of the Grate-est ! G.D. " Backstage Pass Puzzles " of All-Time ...  Enjoy !!!!!

    Grateful Dead Backstage Pass : 1980 : Summer Tour '80 ! : Uptown Theater - Chicago, Illinois ( IL ) - August 19, 20 & 21, 1980 ( 8/19/1980 - 8/20/1980 - 8/21/1980 ) : 1980 Grateful Dead Productions, Inc. ( GDP ) : Stanley Mouse Art Design ! - 1980 Grateful Dead - Go To Heaven " Phoenix Rising ! " Art !! : " Complete ! " 3-Pass Set !!! : Very-Rare !!!
G.D. Fans !!! - and, all those who know a nice piece of Stanley Mouse Art ! when they see one ... Grateful Dead - Go To Heaven " Phoenix Rising " !!!  Wow !! ... as what would the Early-'80s be, if it wasn't for this Legendary ! Grateful Dead logo-image.  So important, that it was indeed featured on the Legendary ! Grateful Dead 1980 Album ... " Go To Heaven ! ".  In addition to Grateful Dead 1980 Tour Shirts ! - and, naturally too ... Grateful Dead 1980 " Backstage Passes ! ".  Very-nice.  Well, here offered indeed is a ' Complete ! ' 3-Pass Set of Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Passes ( sticker-patches / satins ) for the 1980 Summer Tour Shows - at the Uptown Theater in Chicago, Illinois ! ... on August 19, 20 & 21, 1980 ( 8/19/1980 - 8/20/1980 - 8/21/1980 ) !!!  Mouse's fantastic image is the center point of each of these three G.D. Passes - in ' Black ' on the 8/19/80 Pass, in ' Green ' on the 8/20/80 Pass, and in ' Orange ' on the 8/21/80 Pass !  This was a Historic ! run not only in the Amazing ! caliber of musicianship by the Dead all-throughout these Summer Tour '80 Chicago " Windy City ! " Uptown ! Shows - but, it was also the Last Summer Tour Shows ' Ever ' that the Band would play at the Classic Uptown Theatre !  As in fact, the Dead only returned one more time to the " Uptown " - in February of 1981 on 2/26, 27 & 28/1981.  No doubt a " Quintessential ! " Hot-Spot Venue for the Grateful Dead in not just Chicago - but also in All of the Midwest !  And, though these Shows did happen in the ballpark of over 40-Years ago ! ... at the time, this essentially was very soon to be an ' ending ' of an Era - both for the Band, and for the Fans too - at the Historic & Music-Friendly Venue, known as the " Uptown Theater " !  The Grateful Dead played a generous Seventeen ( 17 ) times ! at the Uptown, and from 1978 to 1981 ... they managed to deliver their one & only kind of Live-Magic ! at the Uptown every-single-year ! ' between ' 1978 & 1981 - which, was a pretty impressive feat.  Whether it was Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall Tour - the Dead would make it to the Uptown !  Which very-very easily makes this special Venue the ' Main ' Grateful Dead Chicago-Home ! - by, a long-shot.  In fact ... the only other Chicago Venues that came even close to this impressive Chicago Show-count for the Grateful Dead was the Auditorium Theater, where the Band played 10-times ( from 1971 to 1977 ) - the Rosemont Horizon, where they played 13-times ( from 1981 to 1994 ), and ... last but most definitely not least - Soldier Field ! where the Dead played 9-times ( from 1991 to 1995 ).  So obviously, for Dead Fans, Regional ( Mid-West ) Dead Fans, and for the Band themselves - the Uptown was ' quite ' the special-place ... with some serious ! G.D. Live-Magic memories.  As it is truly hard to pick a " Favorite-Night " from this Summer Tour '80 run at the Uptown - as here in these three " Chicago Shows ! " there was really not much ' off ' to speak about - as most certainly the talk of the town on these Uptown '80 Shows is all-about being " On ! " Dead-Smack in that Summer Tour '80 G.D. Hot-Zone !!  As at least to my ears, and in my own personal opinion - all 3 !!! of these Shows were arguably ' Equally ' Hot !!! ... 1/2 Step > Franklin's > Minglewood ! ... Easy To Love You ! / Stranger ! ... The-1st ! " Little Red Rooster !! - Since 1965 !!! ... and, smack into a Heater ! of a China > Rider !! ... Playin' ! > Comes A Time !! > Playin' !!! ... Big Railroad ! - Let It Grow ! > Deal !! ... Althea ! > Sailor > Saint ! > Terrapin !! ... NFA ! > Dew !! > Good Lovin' !!! ... High Time ! - Shakedown Street !!! ... and, last but most definitely not-least >>> Uncle John's ! > Truckin' !! > Other One !!! > Drums/Space > The Wheel ! > Uncle John's !! > Sugar Mag !!! ... WHOA !!?!! -- " HOT !! ".  I mean ... I really-think it makes good-sense to track down all three of these Shows, if you're like me - and you simply Love ! your 1980 Live-Dead Sound !  Indeed the Early-Days ! & the ' Gateway ' to the '80's Grateful Dead " Magic !! ".  A Stellar ! G.D. ' Complete ' G.D. Mouse ! Pass Set for certain, and ... at least to my eyes - you can just Never ! go wrong when it comes to Mouse ! ... " Go To Heaven !! " - or, naturally too ... the Good Ol' 1980's ! Grateful Dead !!!  This 3-Pass would look Sweet ! framed-together, with a nice matte - and all of that jazz.  But, even more importantly - hopefully You ! were inside the Uptown ( front & center ! ) for All-3 !!! of these nothing-short of " Magical !! " 1980 G.D. Chicago Summer Nights !!! ... Enjoy !!!!!
