Pass has a light indentation ( located slightly below Sam's twirling chain ), and some light edge/corner border wear/fraying (please see photos). Please see all photos provided. Fans !!!  Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the August 12, 1987 ( 8/12/1987 ) Summer Tour Show at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison Colorado !!!  " Don't tell me this Town ain't got no Heart !!! " ... says Shakedown Sam !!!!!  Right smack-dab in the middle of a Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ! ... All-Dressed in Green !! -- but wait ? ... can you even really see him ?  Because as many Dead Fans also liked to refer to him on Tour ... he is indeed the " Invisible Man " too !!!  Swinging his Chain ! ... Snappin' his Fingers ! ... Rockin' a Feather in his Hat ! ... and in a way-Stylish & Fancy Suit ( with the Nice Shoes too, naturally ... ) - this is The One & Only Shakedown Sam !!!  A Cheesy-Grin & Beady-Eyes too ... in that Invisible-Face !  Where is he ?  You just can't see him ??!  Oh wait, just look for that Red Rose ! on the his Green Leisure Suit lapel.  A Totally-Killer ! G.D. Pass here Fans, as this one - is Definitely ! one to have, for that certain kind of G.D. Fan !  And yes, you know who you are & where you stand.  Let's just say ... 1978's Shakedown Street !!!  The Timeless ! G.D. Art Logo Masterpiece of Gilbert Shelton ... from 1978 !  I've always thought that Mr. Shakedown here seems to have a little Big Boy Pete in him too !  Right ?!!  Couldn't you see him settling somewhere very-nicely in that fine Rock 'n Roll tale !  Well, this Red-Hot! '87 Summer Tour Show at Red Rocks !!! was actually the 2nd Night of a Three ( 3 ) night Colorado run for the Band ... and, as you may or may not already know ... this actually was indeed the Last & Final Grateful Dead run of Shows Ever ! at the Good Ol' Red Rocks !!!  The Grateful Dead played a Generous 20-Shows ! at Red Rocks between 1978 & 1987... and during this near 10-Year span - Fifteen ( 15 ) of these " Dead At The Rocks " Shows were in the 1980's !!!  So yes indeed, as it's ok to say that this ' Brent-Era ' G.D. unit Ruled ! the Rocks !!!  Wow ... with more moments of Magic ! going down there, then a Dead Fan could even dream ! of ... so-so many.  Yum !!  So let's hear it not only for the Best Live Band Ever ! - our beloved Grateful Dead !! - but also of course, for Shakedown Sam too ! ... as you bet He ! was front & center for the 1st '78 Red Rocks Show s... as that's clearly what this guy does best !!  Shakedown Sam Smiling right to You ! on this Pass !!!  I'd be willing to bet that he is really-really glad that I made this very-important point !  " Maybe you had too much, Too Fast " !!?!  And, as we all well know ... there's really no such thing as too much / too fast when it comes to a smokin' China > Rider !!!  Ha !  The Very-Last & Final !
