Grateful Dead Fans !! ... who " Loved ! " their Shoreline ! Shows !! ( from 10/2/1987 >>> to 6/4/1995 ! ) - that ' Sacred ' Fancy-New ! Music Shed - which even " Looked ! " like a ' Steal Your Face ! ' from Way-Up-High ! - In-The-Sky !!  Safe to say Good Ol' Bill ! Built this place with the Grateful Dead in mind - right ? ... Ha !  Just kidding here, naturally ... as there is no-question about That !  Darn-perfect ( precise ! ) timing on Shoreline's " Ready To Rock ! " date too in 1987 ( actually ... 1986 - in fact ) - being that ' both ' The Frost ! & The Greek ! pulled-the-plug on the Band's Glory-Daze ! in those two College Campus ( PAC-10 ! ) " Sacred Grounds ".  Shoreline was, and still is the ' Real-Deal ! ' though - did I just hear someone say " Pete's Wicked Ale " On-Tap ?? ( Jerry's Favorite Beer ! - or, at least ... ( true ) rumor does-have-it. ).  But, anyways ... ( other than the Gravel Parking Lot ! ) - I myself never had a single-complaint at Shoreline ... and it was just " All-Bliss !! ".  So ... " West Coast " too ( & so Bay Area ! ) being able to go to a Sunday Afternoon ! Dead Show - and see all of the Entire-Family's ! out there up in that Plush-Grass ! ... with the Picnic Basket !!  Grate-Times ! all-across-the-board - at Good Ol' Shoreline !!!  And that's for 100% Certain !  As o

" Native American Ad ( Circa 1899 ) Art !  And ... as far as the " Silver Surfer ! " goes ...
Surfin' USA !!! - and ' In ' California ! too - Right ?! - with the Good Ol' Grateful Dead !!!  ' Norrin Radd ! ' - Himself ! - surely best-known as ... " The Silver Surfer !!! ".  Yes indeed Comics Fans ... as you likely already well-know - Norrin was an Astronomer ! from the Planet Zenn-La !!  And after saving his Home Planet ! - he eventually acquired " Superhero " Powers !! ... and could travel Faster-Than-Light ! on yes - you guessed it ... his Silver Surfboard !!  A Way " Radd "  Story - right ?  Ha !  So, if you're a Dead Fan who also Loves Your Comics ! - or Your Surfing !! ... then this Rare G.D. Pass from their Last '95 Tour ! ( & ' Last Run ' at ... Shoreline ! - on the West Coast ! - and in California ! ) is Most Definitely All-You !!  Far-Out ! ... and then some - " The Silver Surfer !! " ... just ' Surfing ' his way from another Galaxy ! to the Front-Row !! of Shoreline !!!  I mean hey ... who-wouldn't let the Silver Surfer Backstage ! - or, at least into the ' Hacienda !! ' ( Ha ! ) ... " The Silver-Surfer !!! " ... just Gotta-Love-Him !! ..... And, as for the " Uwanta Cigar ! " Native American Ad ( Circa 1899 ! ) - definitely a look way-back into American Advertising History from long-ago Yesteryear !
This Artwork itself was designed & issued by the American Lithograph Co. in New York in the late 1800's - with this particular design being copyright dated in 1899 !  Artwork that was originally-designed for American Cigar Box Labels - over 120+ years ago !  With, this particular Backstage Pass being issued by the Grateful Dead in 1995
- close to 100 years ( 96 years exactly ) after it's initial use !  And, this Pass Design was actually only used
' Twice ' ( Ever ! ) on a dated Pass by the Grateful Dead - once for this 6/3/95 Shoreline Show, and one other time later in this same '95 Summer Tour - at Deer Creek on 7/3/95 - with, this Deer Creek Show actually even being ' Canceled ' due to the fences being ( unbelievably ) knocked-down by Fans - yes - Gate-Crashing - so-sad ).  So, as History once-again did it's thing ... this 6/3/95 Shoreline ! Show was technically the ' Only-Time ' this Pass was actually used ' properly ' by the Grateful Dead - where, you know ... the scheduled Dead Show actually did indeed ' happen '.  The ' Infamous ' Uwanta Cigar Box Label Art Pass - made just for Shoreline ( 6/3/95 ) - and also Deer Creek ( 7/3/95 ).  A Pretty-Amazing ! G.D. & Rock 'n Roll Collectible for certain - one of Native American History - Cigar History - along with American Advertising Art History too.  And ..... Last ! - but Most-Definitely " Not-Least ! The Incredible Hulk !!! ".  A ' Beyond-Vital ' piece of " Grateful Dead-Meets-The-Hulk ! " - one long-awaited ( & safe to say ... Un-expected ! ) for the die-hard Marvel Comics Fans !!   And ... in numerous-ways - this Grateful Dead 6/4/95 Shoreline Backstage Pass is a Rare ! - Amazing !! & Unique !!! Grateful Dead " Backstage Pass " Collectible " !  As ' Firstly ' ... this was the only-time Ever ! ( obviously ... ) in which " The Grateful Dead ! " crossed-paths with the Marvel Comics Superhero " The Incredible Hulk !! ".  And ' Secondly ' ... this was the Last-Show ! ( " Ever ! " ) which the Grateful Dead performed at Bill Graham's Shoreline Amphitheatre ! - in Mountain View, CA - on June 4th, 1995 !  And ' Thirdly ' ... this was the Very-Last " West Coast " Concert ever-played by The Grateful Dead !!  And finally ... and last but most-definitely not-least ! - this was also the ' Last-Show ' the Grateful Dead Ever-Played in the Entire ( " Grate ! " ) State of California !!!
You know - just like the Band once so-well said : " California ! ... Preaching on the Burning Shore ! ... California !! ... I'll be Knocking on the Golden Door ! ".  Ha !  And, for all reasons ( obvious ) - that makes this quite the " Moment-In-Time " in Good Ol' Grateful Dead History !  And, you know ( naturally ... ) - there sure were are a lot of Comic Book ' Superheroes ! ' out there in say - the last 100-years ?  But, let's face it ... what " Superhero !! " was as Cool ! as " The Hulk !!! " - and yeah ... just the ' way ' that He'd Turn-Green ! - Whoa !?! ( Ha !! ).  These sure were pretty Dead Shows too - for sure ... and ' especially ' the 6/2/95 Show - at least in my own humble Dead Fan opinion - as I remember getting these Tapes ' Real-Fast ' - even before the end of June ! in 1995 - and then ( for obvious-reasons ... ) just really ' never-ever ' stopped-spinning-them.  As after all - this was Jerry !! & the Boys ! " Very-Last-Stand " at the Good Ol' Shoreline Amphitheatre !!! ... Definitely ! a ' Different-Time ' - and Most-Definitely ... " The Good Ol' Days !! ". -- Enjoy !!!!!
