    Description

    Grateful Dead Backstage Pass : 1995 : Spiderman ! ... The Amazing Spider-Man !!! : TM & (c) 1995 Marvel / Spider-Man TM - 1995 Grateful Dead Productions, Inc. ( GDP ) - Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) : Summer Tour '95 ! : The ' Last & Final ' Grateful Dead Tour !! : July 2, 1995 ( 7/2/95 : 7/2/1995 ) - Deer Creek - Noblesville, Indiana ( IN ) : Very-Rare !!!
    1995 Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ! for the 7/2/95 ' Gate-Crashing ' Show at Deer Creek in Indiana ... Featuring " The Amazing Spider-Man !!! " Marvel Comics !! Art Design !!!!!
Grateful Dead Fans !! - Comics Fans ! ... and naturally too - Fans of Spiderman !!!  Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) - Marvel Comics " Spider-Man ! " Pass for the Deer Creek Music Center Show in Noblesville, Indiana ( IN ) on July 2nd, 1995 (7/2/1995) !!!  Offered here is a serious-piece of Both ! Marvel Comics & Grateful Dead History ... for the Grateful Dead & Comics Fans ! ... and ' Why ' ?  Well firstly - 1995 was the wonderful year that it was agreed The Grateful Dead would feature an Amazing ! line of Marvel Comics " Superheroes ! " & " Supervillians ! " on many of their Backstage Passes for this year !  Pretty exciting, right ?  And it gets better as this one here ( for 7/2/95 Deer Creek ) features none other than " The Amazing Spider-Man " !!!  And ... I'm not sure where you stand with your Super-Heroes - but to me, as a kid ... and beyond !  Spidey was always one of the Coolest !  Sure, I dressed like Spiderman for Halloween when I was a kid - most of us did at least once - right ??  So yes ... Spiderman !!! on this G.D. Backstage Pass.  However, on a Grateful Dead note ?  This is where the true " History " comes, as most of it being some sad history - especially at the time.  As you know, '95 Summer Tour was the Very-Last for the Grateful Dead - with Jerry Garcia's untimely passing on 8/9/95 - just a little over a month after this Deer Creek Show.  And in addition - this 7/2/95 Show was scheduled to be the 1st of a two ( 2 ) night run at this Fan-Favorite Mid-West Venue ... however - during the 5th Song of this Concert ( right after Phil Lesh finished singing " Broken Arrow " ) the Deer Creek Fences were ' Crashed ' by supposed Grateful Dead Fans ?  I use the term " Fan " with reservation.  I'll never forget seeing the look on Phil's Face when this happened - a completely unforgettable moment in time - no doubt.  Not to mention ... the '92 Deer Creek ticket(s) were two of the Toughest-Tickets ! I have ever seen in my entire Rock 'n Roll & Concert Going Career ... with Pine Knob '91 ( Michigan ) - possibly coming in 2nd Place.  So as a result, though the Dead did choose to finish this 7/2/95 Concert ... all the way through the " Mighty Quinn ! " Dylan-esque Encore - the next night ( 7/3/1995 ) was promptly " Cancelled " - and that was the very end of the Dead's run at the Deer Creek Music Center ... starting all the way back to the 1989 Summer Tour.  It is indeed a true-shame that " Spidey " himself didn't just jump-right-out-of-this-Pass ! - because trouble was in the air that day ... that no Marvel Comic Superhero was there to save - as, not even the Grateful Dead themselves could do anything about it.  Truly, a Vital-Piece of Rock 'n Roll History ! here Fans ...&  indeed one to remember ! for certain.  The Final ! G.D. Stop at Deer Creek !! - on the Last & Final ! '95 Tour !! ... of The Grateful Dead !!!  Enjoy !!!!!

    Grateful Dead Backstage Pass : 1989 : " The Lion vs. Samson " G.D. Art Design !!! - Samson & Delilah Biblical Tale ! & G.D. Song !! : Spring Tour '89 ! : April 9, 1989 ( 4/9/89 : 4/9/1989 ) - Freedom Hall - Louisville, Kentucky ( KY ) : 1989 Grateful Dead Productions, Inc. ( GDP ) - Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) : Very-Rare ' Light-Blue ' Pass Color !!!
Grateful Dead Fans !!! ... " Samson " Fans !! - and Fans of G.D. Rock & Roll ! at Freedom Hall !!!  Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Passes ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the '89 Spring Tour Show at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky ( KY ) on April 9, 1989 ( 4/9/89 ) !!!  One of the Coolest ! G.D. Passes of the Late'80's Era ... hands-down !  A Statuesque-design of the both Biblical Tale & Grateful Dead Song ... " Samson & Delilah " !!!  A Sunday-Sermon Live-Rocker that most-all ! Dead Fans waited for eagerly, and Treasured ! ... always chompin' at the bit to do some more Dancin' !!!  Ha !  Well, as you can well-see here in the photos ... Samson has the Lion at his mercy indeed ... in this Man vs. Beast Test of Strength ! - a Battle to the End ! - with Samson Victorious !  As those G.D. Fan-Favorite Song lines go - swirling in our Dead Heads for decades ! ... " Samson Ripped that Beast, God Knows - He Killed Him There !! ... and the Bees Made Honey in the Lions Hair ! ".  Whoa !!?!  Just typing-this makes me want to go & fire up the Nak ... grabbing likely for 6/30/85 with Samson sandwiched recklessly & delightfully ! between Shakedown & Gimmie Some Lovin' !!!  A Mid-'80's Burner !!!  One of my favorites too, as Garcia pretty much clearly separates himself from anybody else who ever played Guitar !  Nasty ! & So-Beautiful ...  Point being, that is the Power & Attack that Samson could & most often would deliver Live !  A go-to Rocker, straight out of the G.D. Powerhouse Pocket !  The Band Ripping-that-Beast ! just like the Tale of Samson & the Lion ... Samson & Delilah !!!  In addition, from a collecting standpoint - as you are likely already well aware ... this particular version of this '89 Spring Tour G.D. Pass features this Samson Statue design in a Light-Silver Color !  Very-Rare ! is almost an understatement for this one, as most other times issued - this design was used, but the Statue was colored in a Bronze/Golden-like hue !  With 6/30/88 Rochester - and 10/9/89 Hampton being two examples I am able to pull right off the top of my ' Dead-Head ' !  A ' Light Blue ' border-strip below with the date too, which really makes this one Glow - all the more.  And, as you probably have already noticed too ... " Grateful Dead " is printed in one of the Greatest ! ' Fonts ' of All-Time ... totally-modern, yet still ! Totally '80's !!  A way nice-match indeed, at least to my eyes ... & one of my own personal All-Time Favorites - for certain !  Well, look out for Samson - and if do cross-paths with him someday ... as my advice would be to get on his good side !  And, especially if you are a Lion !! ... Ha !  Enjoy this Rare ! & Awesome !! G.D. Rock 'n Roll Treasure !!!
