The shows that never happened.... just over 25 years ago, feels like yesterday.  22 Grateful Dead shows were scheduled for the fall tour 1995, half of these shows had tickets mailed out.
Of the 6 scheduled Madison Square Garden concerts - Sep. 21,22,23 & 25,26,27 - only the first three were mailed out
Limited number of these shows are around
since the Grateful Dead Ticket Sales (GDTS) team, led by Steve Marcus, sent out the 1st batch on August 8, 1995 and Jerry Garcia passed in the early morning hours of August 9.  All ticket mailing was immediately stopped and no more were sent out.
No other tickets (other than initial mail order) were ever printed for these shows. No Ticketmaster tickets, etc.
The tickets have been stamped on the back (by GDTS) with a Jerry Garcia silhouette (pictured) as part of the refund process, making them even more collectable because not all mail-ins were sent back.
