Dead Fans !!!  Talk about a nearly 30-Year Old ! " New Years Eve ! " Dead Ticket !! that is All ! Grateful Dead > Oakland Coliseum > New Years Eve ! in it's design ... as This-One ! is all about the ' Balloons ' !!!!!  An ' Artistic ' notice to all Dead Fans - showing them images of just exactly what's going to be falling right on top of their Dead " Heads ! " - once that Clock strikes 12 !!!!!  " Happy New Year " !!! ... and in the case of this Show - it's Iko Iko time !!!  Yeah !  A Shiny-Foil ! G.D. New Years Eve GDTS Mail Order Ticket ! ... which Rocks Balloons !!!  And ... Wow ! - as what a " Celebration " this Show was, for sure ... offering the last & final notes, tones & songs ... for the ' Beyond-Description ! ' 1989 Grateful Dead " Monster !! " Touring-Year - right in Oaktown ! at the Deadhead's one & only Oakland Coliseum !!!
Wow ... I mean 1989 Grateful Dead !!!!!  Could never-ever say enough about it, and I still can't - as heck ... I'm just still getting started !  Well, how's this for starters ... Jerry Garcia !!!!!!!  As This-Guy was on a straight-up Mission ! to bring the G.D. Live Heat ! in '89, and just kept on doing it - Spring Tour, Summer Tour, Fall Tour, Winter Tour ... I mean you name it.  I'm sure some of it had to be the whole ' near-death ' thing in '86, obviously ... but Jerry was 47 here, and he was playing like he was 27 again - but ... no joke, even Better !!!  I mean you only get better in Rock & Roll really, if you are truly one of the Greats !  And ... just how many Guitar Players really had the ideal ' chance ' to deliver for that long, for so many Rock & Roll, and Rock & Roll " Business " type reasons ... my point being something like this --- Jimmy Page got to play like what ? ... only 12-years with Zeppelin ?  And, how many years did Iommi really-get, when you account for all of the on & off ' breaks ' ( & break-ups ) by the Black Sabbath(s) - including the Ozzy unit, the Dio unit, and also the ' other ' units.  And Jerry ? - well, he got 30-Years ! with the G.D., and as far as I'm concerned ... this Spring 1989 through Summer 1990 Touring pocket, was indeed a Grateful Dead " Prime ! " Era - the tail-end of the " Brent-Era "... and arguably, in many ways you can easily argue - it " Was " the Ultimate-Prime ! of the Grateful Dead, from a holistic standpoint - with ' all ' things considered.  And, the simply fact is ... Jerry ! knew-it, as he got after it Harder ! in 1989 then in any other recent Dead Touring Year ... as you'd really have to go back all the way to 1985, and the " Twenty Years So Far " G.D. Tour ... and the Push !  Just think ... 6/30/85 !  Ha !!  So yeah ... as this Ticket ! most-definitely represents this 1989 G.D. Touring-Year ... as it indeed ran - just like a Train running down the Track - well until 1990 !  Until 7/23/90, to be exact ... and then some too, after ... but Spring '89 to Summer '90 was indeed " King " !  With, this 1989-90 " New Years Eve " Show basically falling right in the midst of this Late Grateful Dead " Magic " Era !!!
And too ... let's not even forget it either - being right around the corner, and all ---> Spring 1990 !!!  Whoa !?!!  This Band was " ON " my fellow Dead Fan Friends !!  Believe it ...  So yeah ... " Sugar Mag " came Straight ! out of the starting-gate ( for Bill ! ) ... and into > Touch !  Just-like Bill liked it ... well done Boys !  With a Women Are Smarter, and Memphis Blues in there too ... with - Yep ! ... a Big Boss Man !!! jamin' his way into the 4-spot, and then ... Shakedown Street !!!!! closing-up Set I !?!!  Killer ... and if you have yet to hear it ?  Change-that ... Fast !  Wow ... and after-this ... just Look-Out Below ! - or, even above too - for those Fallin' Party Balloons !!! >>> Set II : Iko Iko > Victim > Dark Star !!! ( of-course ! ... This Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead ( GDTS ) Used Mail Order Ticket for the 1989-1990 New Year's Eve Show on December 31, 1989 ( 12/31/1989 ) at the Oakland Coliseum Arena in Oakland, California ( CA ) is in Good condition - showing heavy show-used creasing & wear (please see all photos).  Ticket is torn on the perforated edge, and has significant creasing & medium surface / edge wear (please see photos).  This Ticket saw the Show, and looks fairly good, for seeing this Show - close to 30-Years Ago !  ' Good ' condition, across the board.  Please see all photos & close-up photos provided to view the actual condition of this item.  Photos included are of the actual item you will receive.  A Vintage-Original !
