Grateful Dead Backstage Pass : 1995 : Marvel Comics ! - ' Ben Parker !! ' - from " Spiderman !!! " : Summer Tour '95 ! : May 24, 1995 ( 5/24/95 : 5/24/1995 ) - Seattle Memorial Stadium - Seattle, Washington ( WA ) ! : Ben Parker TM & (c) 1995 Marvel / Grateful Dead Productions, Inc. ( GDP ) - Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) : Very-Rare !!
The Marvel Comics ! " Ben Parker !! " G.D. Backstage Pass ! ... for Show # 1 of the ' Last & Final ' Grateful Dead stand Ever ! ... in Seattle !!!!!
Grateful Dead Fans ! - Marvel Comics Fans !! ... and quite-possibly too - those from the Grate ! Pacific Northwest !! Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass for the May 24, 1995 ( 5/24/95 ) Show at the Seattle Memorial Stadium, in Seattle, Washington !!! Seeing this one, well ... it just might make you Smile !! As this indeed was the " 2nd " Triumphant Return ! by the Grateful Dead - to the the City with the Space Needle !!! Right on, I say ... The Grateful Dead played Seattle on their 1983 Tour, and prior a number of times -- but, then it was no Grateful Dead in Seattle ! - and in fact, in the entire State of Washington for the next 10 + Years ?!? A pretty crazy ' hiatus ' right ? I mean wouldn't you say ?? Well ... Thankfully ! that all changed on the 1994 Summer Tour when the Band ' Returned ' to Seattle for 2-Shows !! Then, that actually went over so well - naturally ... that the Good Ol' Grateful Dead came back again ! for 3-straight Shows on the 1995 Summer Tour !!! Which, of course - also ended up being the Last & Final Tour ' Ever ' by The Grateful Dead ! I was lucky enough to catch 4 of these 5, and am So ! glad I did. It was just an Awesome ! West-Coast-esque laid back scene, with a rad lot for Shakin' on Shakedown Street right smack dab next to the Venue ! And ... this Venue was Awesome !! - in an ' old school ' type of way, and Small too ! Just like an old football kind of Stadium set-up, it was all GA naturally, and you could roam all around. Though these were all Sell-Outs - it was still one of those places where you could pretty much walk up casually to the stage - like 20-30 feet from the Band ! Mellow-Yellow style, you know ? Righteous indeed ... Believe it or not -- they actually Sound Checked ! " Tough Mama " before This-Show !?! But, to no avail ' officially ' - as it never ended up getting played Live. Bummer kinda, but ... still way-cool too ! Plus, it was '95 - so, you could actually go down to the Warfield and still hear Garcia ring it with the J.G.B. !!! I'm just glad I got to catch this Seattle G.D. action, as it is indeed a pretty cool city - with lots of fun stuff to do ... and these days, the EMP is about always Rockin' ! Don't miss that, and especially if you - like me, like your Jimi !! Seriously ... Well, this 5/24 Show offered a stand-out 2nd Set ! A little bit of sleep-walking in Set I, but still enjoyable >>> Touch - Minglewood - Lazy River Road - Me & My Uncle > Big River - Bird Song ... but then, things got Cookin' !!! in Set 2 >>> Iko Iko ! Saint > Way To Go Home > I Want To Tell You > Estimated > Drums > Space > Miracle > Wharf Rat > Lovelight ! & a U.S. Blues Encore ! With, the Tale of the Tape here being pretty-clear on ' Paper '... the Iko was a Jumpin' ! And then really ... this was one of those Bobby Weir nights ! And, I like those !! All of that pulling up the bootstraps extra-effort during All ! deliveries ... that of Saint ! ... Prophet!!... Miracle!!!... and the Lovelight!!!! Heck, you know what I'm talking about here - as you were probably there! Very well-done... And, it should too be noted that Jerry's delivery of the Beatles ' I Want To Tell You ' was pretty sweet, as well. And as for this 5/24 Pass design ? ... Marvel Comics !!! -- and, this is Ben Parker himself !!! Dressed like you didn't see many people at This-Show ! Ha ! ... Maybe you are a " Marveller " and you already know all-about this Guy ? Just about as Comic-Fantasy as it gets - as he was actually designed & created with Ben Franklin himself in mind ! ... and, he is the surrogate Father ! - of ' Peter Parker ' ... best known in his ' Other ' form as " Spider Man " !!! Bright Yellow & Red ... all Way-Cool !! just like ... Seattle-Dead !!! Enjoy !!!!!
