Jerry Garcia Backstage Pass : Jerry Garcia Band : 1982 : " Run For The Roses !! Tour ! " : Summer Tour '82 ! : June 23, 1982 ( 6/23/82 : 6/23/1982 ) - Stanley Theater - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania ( PA ) : 1982 Jerry Garcia / Electric Factory Concerts ( JG / EFC ) : Very-Rare !!!J.G.B. Summer Tour '82 Backstage Pass ! - for the Stanley Theater ! in Pittsburgh !! ... on the " Run For The Roses !!! " Tour !!
Garcia Band Fans !!! ... & quite-possibly those from the Mid-Atlantic !! Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic) Jerry Garcia Band Backstage Pass ! for the June 23, 1982 ( 6/23/82 ) Show at the Stanley Theater in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania ( PA ) !! - better known to Garcia Fans as the 1982 Summer " Run For The Roses " Tour ! This 10-Date ( 8-Venue ) Tour kicked off with only Two ( 2 ) West Coast dates ( at the Keystone-Berkeley on 6/11/82 & 6/12/82 ) - before Jerry - John & Co. headed Back-East ! for the lion's share of this Tour ... as they liked to do Best ! in this Amazing! ! J.G.B. Early-'80's Era. This Eastern J.G.B. swing kicked off in South Fallsburg, NY ( Music Mountain ! ) - then headed to New Haven, CT - then on to the Cape Cod Coliseum ( South Yarmouth, MA ) - then to the Cumberland County Civic ( ME ) - then down to the South ... at the Mosque ! in Richmond, VA ... and then right-here to the Stanley Theater ! - in Pittsburgh, PA !! - two more Shows in New Jersey, at the Capitol Theatre following ... and, that was all she wrote ! - as far as the " Electric " J.G.B. goes. Then the very next day the Garcia / Kahn ' Acoustic ! " run began ... in New York City ! Jerry & John played Fourteen ( 14 ) Shows ! spanning from New York - to D.C. - to Philly - to Boston - to Rochester - to Chicago - to Boulder - to San Fran - all the way until mid-September ... it was Jerry & John Acoustic-Only ! For really any Garcia Fan - these were ' The-Days ' ! Touring Fast & Touring-Hard ! - truly taking it to the people all-over ! This Summer Tour was actually the " Run For The Roses " Tour - and I think the only way it was really ever " Billed " as such - was with the Legendary ! '82 " Run For The Roses " Tour Shirt ! Pretty classic - for certain ... This 1982 Album was indeed Garcia's ' Last & Final ' Studio Album that he ever-released - and it's pretty crazy to think that the J.G.B. still played constantly all-over likewise for the next 13-Years !?! Playing ' Live ' - through the Amps & Cones is indeed what it was all about for the J.G.B. - who needs to release Albums anyways ! To my ears ... this period was around the ' entry-point ' of the Garcia Band at its Sheer ... " Nastiest !! ". And of course ( naturally ... ) I'm talking about ' Nasty ' in a Grate ! way. Bringing it ! - and bringing it Hard & Heavy - quite a bit of the Boss ! playin' The-Boss !! ... OD-1 ! & HM-2 !! Gotta love that ... And, as it is also way important to note - this was the J.G.B. also reaping the " Promoter " benefits of those Grateful Dead connections - as the Venues on this Tour - are simply a " Who's Who ! " of some of the Best ! Venues to see Bands in this Early-'80's Era ... Wow !! The Keystone-Berkeley - Music Mountain - the Cape Cod Coliseum - Cumberland County - The Mosque - the Capitol Theatre, and of course ... the Stanley Theater !!! We all well-know the kinds of things that the Good Ol' Grateful Dead ! did to some of these these fine Venues right around this Era - and hey ... why not serve them all another thick-helping of the J.G.B. !! - in '82 ! ... on the " Run For The Roses " Tour !!! We All ! need a Time-Machine that works ! - and works-well !! Ha !!! Enjoy this '82 Garcia Band " Backstage " Treasure ! - for certain ... Enjoy !!!

ad Fans !!! - Mouse ! Fans ... & Fans of Long Beach !! Yes indeed ... as offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the November 15, 1987
( 11/15/87 ) Show ! at the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, CA !! A Rare & Unique ! G.D. Pass design - it that fact that it features Stanley Mouse ! Artwork ... an image from the Legendary " Egypt '78 " Art Designs !!! ... Total Classic !! This beauty of an '87 G.D. Pass sports a Mouse ! image - and sports it quite-well - wouldn't you say ? 1987 was actually in fact the " Original " & Debut ! year for the use of this Pass design-style - as it was used again a couple of times on the '91 & '92 Tours - with a '91 Pine Knob Show & '92 Giants Stadium Show being fine examples - that have quickly entered the mind ... of my Dead-Head ! Ha !! Point being ... this '87 version was really the first - and the 1st time anyone saw it's use, really since the Egypt '78 Deadhead Offensive ! ... Yeah !! Probably a Pass that falls into the " must-have " category ... for all obvious reasons - and the main one of course being Mouse ! - probably tied neck-in-neck with Egypt !! Sounds like a bit of " Racing " talk, right ? Well, let's not forget that Long Beach is the Home ! of one of America's Best-Races ! ... and arguably the Sporting-Worlds Greatest Sport - to some, at least. Yeah, I think I might be in that camp. Three-Cheers !!! for the " The Long Beach Grand Prix !! ". There are some Band Members ( ex. > Phil ! ) that really love their Racing ! - and especially ... Open-Wheel ! Racing !! - as I even remember seeing Phil stage-wear a " Long Beach Grand Prix T-Shirt ! " On-Stage ! way back in the day. Now just how awesome is that ... Really !! You go Phil !!! Stage wearing an " Open-Wheel " Shirt - and giving the Grate ! Sport of Indy Car Racing some much-needed Love ! ... and least here in the Grate ! U.S. of A. !! Well then, as F1's always quite a different-story ... Whoa !!? But wait, we're still talkin' about this Dead Pass here - and it is a Fantastic Image ! for certain ... done by the Man himself - The Mouse !!! ... Enjoy !!!!!
