Long since sold out & now a very rare collectible! The Madonna Nudes Condoms feature a photograph from the photo shoot 'The Madonna Nudes 1979' on the condom boxes, wrappers, instruction leaflet & display boxes. MADONNA NUDES 1979 © 1990 MHM Schreiber. The USA 2001 production run distribution was limited to only 50,000. Madonna granted to Schreiber all rights on the photos & authorization to use them in association with her name for any purpose: art, advertising & trade in a signed model release.
THE MADONNA NUDES 1979 PHOTO HISTORY:
In 1979 at the tender age of twenty for the measly sum of .00, Madonna Ciccone the future queen of pop agreed to model for photographer Martin H.M. Schreiber for a series of arty black & white life studies at the Parsons School Of Design in New York City. Fresh faced, & far less provocative than today, this was Madonna looking young, innocent & demure. After Madonna became a megastar in the 1980s, these pictures found their way into Playboy Magazine & the rest is history. In February 2009 one of THE MADONNA NUDES 1979 photo's featuring Madonna sold for ,500 at the Christie's Auction House. The image had been sold to Playboy in the mid-80s & published in 1985, along with five other nude photos which sold for ,170.
